Pesaro Film Festival 2025
screening of the short film at the Pesaro Film Festival on June 18, 2025
Volare con le zanzare
«Volare con le zanzare» is an animated short film and tells a very personal story, about a mosquito that longs to be reborn as a human child. To achieve this dream, it embarks on a mission to bring together its future parents. The idea of the story is based on a proverb that my parents often said when we looked at photo albums from the time before my birth: «Back then, you still flew with the mosquitoes.» With this short film, I would like to visually represent this (south tyrolean) saying, which I heard very often as a child. I want to capture and convey the images I had when I imagined the journey of my mosquito towards my parents. «Volare con le zanzare» has been part of the «Mostra del Nuovo Cinema di Pesaro» and was screened on 18th June 2025 at the Pesaro Film Festival! 2025 | ISIA Urbino
